biG iDeaS!

I really wish time didn't get away from me! Time goes so fast, then I think I really should post, then I have no big ideas for a great post so I don't...

I do however have a 17yr old in the house now...he is driving, working and has a girlfriend!(we love her, but do not love the idea of the serious girlfriend thing!)

I had a dream a few weeks ago and in my dream mitch was 5. It was so real I kept thinking all day that I wish I could go back to when he was five!

We love him and are so proud!

We went to a nice dinner (with girlfriend in tow that is a good way to make yourself feel old) and then we arranged for his friends to be waiting when we got home for a surprise party. It was so fun! Happy 17th Mitch! We love ya so much!

meRry ChriStmaS!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Holiday. I hope you are surrounded by loved ones and enjoying this wonderful time of the year. Here are a few of our highlights!

Making Gingerbread Cookies!

We once again made it to temple square for my birthday, we also enjoyed a yummy lunch, and a fun movie(Narnia Voyage of the Dawn Trauder), but we really enjoyed watching the nativity on the front row at temple square!

Madee loved putting up the Nativity at home again this year! We also have two small ones for our coffee table, once again every time I walk into the living room I can see that the kids have been playing with them!

Choir concerts and band concerts! I love seeing my kids share their talents! This year will forever stick in our minds since Madee passed out during her second show of the day last friday. She hit her little face on the hard floor, bruised her nose and eye...I think she is enjoying the fame a tiny bit...but is happy to be all better!

We are so grateful for good friends and family! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

wE aRe SuPerWomAn!

This is a shout out to all you busy moms out there! I hope it is taken in the spirit it is meant and not as me bragging about myself. This week at our house we had two choir concerts, one band concert, working at santa shop three afternoons from 12 to 3:30(pta pres duties), one primary activity 4 to 5:30(primary pres duties, after santa shop before choir concert), two christmas parties, five afternoons babysitting a niece, five mornings of preschool 9 to 11:30, two piano lessons, spending an afternoon in bed with aches and a fever, and oh my mom came to visit wednesday morning, since she doesn't drive, roger met my brother-in-law to pick her up, we have taken her to 12th street for lunch and picked her up in Harrisville, then taken her the next morning back to Harrisville. My mom commented to my aunt this house is a mad house they never stop, like it was a bad thing! She also found it in her heart to ask me,"are those dishes in the dishwasher clean? yes. Why are they still in there?

Instead of noticing all that I am doing and keeping up and doing well! She notices that I haven't unloaded or had my teenager unload the dishwasher! Can't she see that I am SUPERWOMAN?

Just so you know the next day the dishwasher was unloaded and loaded again and now has clean dishes in it again! The can's overflowing in the garage were also picked up! Not sure if she noticed!

I loved both choir concerts and the band concert, my kids are excellent! I am looking forward to the two choir concerts and one band concert next week also! So to all you busy mom's out there...YOU ARE SUPERWOMAN...and I notice! Keep up the good work and enjoy all those awesome concerts that so nicely bring the Christmas spirit!
